"Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.” Luke 2:28-32
Matthew 1:21 “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Jesus saves from sin. Jesus delivers from evil. There is no tough situation that Jesus is not able to come and pull you through and rescue you. Therefore, take heart and do not lose heart. Exodus 5 shows us that when deliverance is nearer, Pharaoh increases persecution, oppression and bondage against the children of God. When warfare increases, it is an indication that we are going in the right direction and that deliverance is near. Therefore there is no reason to give up but to stand up, press in and pray like never before. When you do this, you will experience the-never-seen-before miracles.
